FRIMA is a professional manufacturer of custom metal sheet stamping parts machining. In the metal stamping process, sheet metal blanks or coils are formed and cut into desired shapes using one or more sets of dies—all of which we design and build in-house with advanced EDM and CNC machines. This in-house capability allows us to maintain strict tolerances down to 0.005 inches throughout the entire stamping process. As a specialized supplier of custom metal sheet stamping parts machining, our customers trust our expert R&D and design services. We produce a wide range of components, from simple to complex geometries, and provide full service and support from prototype development to high-volume production—with the capacity to handle orders of up to 50 million pieces.

At FRIMA, we perform a variety of custom metal stamping operations, including:
    • Bending
    • Blanking
    • Punching
    • Drawing
    • Embossing
    • Coining
    • Piercing
    • Curling

We utilize custom precision metal stamping processes to manufacture a wide range of components, such as:
    • Electronic Terminals
    • Sensor components
    • Yokes
    • Thrust washers
    • Heat sinks
    • Printer cartridge blades
    • Medical Components
    • Inserts

    FRIMA Special Stamping Features

Our custom metal stamping processes combine speed, reliability, and versatility to deliver components that consistently perform at the highest level. We also offer the capability to integrate specialized features into stamped parts, including:

    • Threaded
    • Countersunk
    • Numbered
    • Embossed elements such as logos
    • Assembled
    • Staking
    • Joining

    Progressive Die Stamping

In progressive die stamping, a metal strip is fed through a series of stations and gradually formed. Each die performs operations such as cutting, bending, punching, coining, embossing, drawing, or trimming. Depending on part complexity, the strip may pass through anywhere from one to forty stations. Compared to multi-slide or four-slide stamping, progressive die stamping typically generates more scrap, but die setup is generally faster.
