2026-08-06
On 31 July 2026, FRIMA' s 2026 Mid-Year Work Review and Awards Ceremony was grandly held in the company' s multi-purpose conference hall. The company' s General Manager, department heads and all staff gathered to comprehensively review the operational results of the first half of the year, conduct an in-depth analysis of industry trends, systematically set out key objectives for the second half of the year, and present awards to outstanding teams and individuals who had performed exceptionally well during the first half of the year.
Looking Back on the First Half of the Year
At the start of the conference, the company' s General Manager delivered the half-yearly operational report. He noted that during the first half of 2026, faced with an external environment characterised by the restructuring of global manufacturing supply chains and intensified competition in international markets, FRIMA remained steadfast in its development philosophy of ‘building the company on quality and putting the customer first’. With all staff working in unison to overcome challenges, steady growth was achieved across all key operational indicators.
During the first half of the year, the company achieved significant results in expanding its overseas markets, with performance showing marked growth compared to the same period last year. Success was seen across multiple market segments: the company continued to tap into new global markets, successfully securing contracts with several high-quality new overseas clients; whilst steadily deepening its presence in existing markets, with numerous long-term clients placing stable and repeat orders. In addition, substantive progress was made with potential clients with whom the company had been in ongoing discussions, gradually leading to deeper business cooperation. The client portfolio continues to be refined, laying a solid foundation for future business growth. On the production front, the company continued to advance lean manufacturing, with per-capita output efficiency rising by 18 %. The first-pass acceptance rate for products remained stable at over 99.6 %, whilst the implementation of the two major management systems—IATF 16949 and ISO 13485—was further deepened, laying a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation with high-end client groups.
The General Manager emphasised in particular:“The essence of manufacturing lies in producing every component to the highest standard and ensuring every delivery is reliable. When clients choose FRIMA, they are choosing not only our machining capabilities, but also our reliable quality assurance and the value of long-term partnership. In the first half of the year, we earned the trust of more clients through our actions, which is the result of the collective efforts of everyone at FRIMA.”
Departmental Review
Subsequently, the heads of the four core departments—Production, Engineering, Sales and Quality, took to the stage in turn to deliver specialised reports on the completion of tasks in the first half of the year, existing issues and areas for improvement in the second half.
The Production Department focused its report on production capacity optimisation, equipment upgrades and ensuring delivery deadlines. During the first half of the year, 3 five-axis machining centres were commissioned and commissioned, with on-time production and delivery rates reaching 98.2 %. In the second half of the year, the department will continue to advance automation upgrades to further alleviate capacity bottlenecks.
The Technical Department summarised its work across three dimensions: process innovation, DFM optimisation and technical cost reduction. On average, manufacturing costs for customers were reduced by more than 15 % during the first half of the year. Several precision machining processes independently developed by the team have already been applied to the production of core components for the automotive and agricultural sectors.
The Sales Department reviewed the achievements in global market expansion and the upgrading of the customer base. During the first half of the year, the department established contacts and partnerships with several high-quality clients, whilst market recognition of its six major industry solutions continued to rise. Centred on the shift in positioning from 'parts supplier to manufacturing partner' , the team deepened its full-lifecycle customer service.
The Quality Department reported on the operation of the end-to-end quality control system. During the first half of the year, by analysing and adjusting quality processes and addressing shortcomings in quality management, the department successfully passed on-site quality audits conducted by several international clients and received high praise.
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony brought the conference to a climax. To set an example and recognise outstanding performance, following nominations from various departments and a comprehensive assessment by the company, the conference held a grand ceremony to honour the 'Outstanding Employees' and two 'Outstanding Teams' who had distinguished themselves during the first half of the year. Company executives presented the award winners with bouquets and cash prizes.
In his speech during the awards ceremony, the General Manager stated:“Every FRIMA employee who approaches their work with dedication deserves to be recognised and acknowledged. Our outstanding employees and teams are the company' s most valuable assets; the craftsmanship, sense of responsibility and spirit of collaboration you embody are precisely the reasons why FRIMA has earned the trust of our clients. I hope that all colleagues will take these exemplary individuals as role models and create even greater value in their respective roles.”
Plans for the Second Half of the Year
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the company remains firmly focused on its overall annual business growth target. It has refined its operational plans across four key areas: market expansion, production efficiency improvements, quality enhancement and value-added services. With performance growth as the core driver, the company is fully committed to improving the quality and pace of all operations, whilst striving to achieve breakthroughs in key areas.
Market Strategy: Integrated Approach to Expand Customer Base Across All Channels
We will intensify market development efforts in key global regions, precisely target high-quality new clients and expedite the finalisation of prospective partnerships; we will thoroughly cultivate existing client resources, identify procurement needs and encourage repeat business whilst expanding the scale of cooperation; simultaneously, we will accelerate the conversion of potential clients with whom we have been in long-term engagement, create more industry-leading partnership case studies, continuously optimise our client structure and steadily expand our market share.
Production: Coordinated Efforts to Boost Volume and Speed
Focusing on the two core objectives of increasing production capacity and accelerating delivery, we will steadily advance the intelligent upgrading of production lines and the commissioning of core processing equipment, continuously unlocking production capacity to support steady growth in order volumes; we will deepen lean production management, optimise production scheduling and workflow, shorten the overall production cycle, and comprehensively improve on-time delivery rates.
Quality: Deepening Quality Control Across the Entire Supply Chain
We will continue to upgrade the end-to-end quality management system, strictly enforcing quality controls at three key stages—raw material intake, the production process, and finished product dispatch, and implement a digital quality traceability system across the entire process to ensure that every product is traceable, controllable and verifiable throughout its entire lifecycle.
Service: Enhancing the Service Experience Throughout the Entire Lifecycle
We have comprehensively upgraded our end-to-end customer service system, optimising service standards across the entire customer journey, including pre-sales technical support, progress updates during the sales process, and rapid post-sales response. This has further improved service response efficiency for overseas customers; through professional, efficient and attentive service, we have strengthened customer confidence in our partnership, thereby facilitating the conversion of new customers and the retention of existing ones.
In his closing remarks, the Managing Director shared his insights on customer service: “In today' s manufacturing sector, success is no longer determined by low prices, but by professionalism, reliability and long-term value. When customers entrust us with their drawings, they are placing their trust in us. Every dimension, every production step and every delivery is crucial not only to the success of the customer' s product, but also to FRIMA' s brand reputation. In the second half of the year, I hope every employee will consider issues from the customer’s perspective, adopt ‘giving customers peace of mind, confidence and reassurance’ as the fundamental guiding principle of their work, and win more long-term partners through professionalism and sincerity.”
Conclusion
This mid-year conference serves not only as a 'mid-term review' to reflect on and summarise our progress, but also as a 'full-scale mobilisation' to rally our forces and spur us on. Standing at this new starting point, all FRIMA employees will, with even greater conviction and a more pragmatic approach, unite their efforts and capitalise on the momentum to give their all in achieving our full-year targets. We will continue to provide our global customers with superior precision machining solutions, steadily advancing towards our vision of 'becoming the world' s leading partner in customised precision manufacturing' .
